The Department started in the Year 2006 with intake of 60 students. The Department prides itself in providing a solid background in Engineering while providing the freedom to students to pursue their desired focuses. The objective of the department is to provide knowledge of modern computing systems as well as sound theoretical background to meet evolving needs of students. The department aims at establishing strong relationship with the industry so as to bridge the gap between the academia and corporate sector. Also the department aims at cultivating qualities like leadership, teamwork, self confidence, good communication skills among its students. The overall objective of the department is to make students understand their professional as well as ethical values. The department has excellent computing facilities, which include Pentium based computer systems, servers, multimedia kits, Internet & E-mail facilities.

Over the period, students with good score have got admission in the department. A Large number of companies visit us for recruitment/ training. The Department has entered into an MoU with HCL,IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Zensar Technologies, Hexaware Centre Of Excellence & GTT for software training and Faculty Development Programmes.

  • To provide quality and value-laden education for students in different areas of information technology.
