Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology & Sciences, Jabalpur is a renowned institute that has carved a niche for itself in the field of technical education in a very short span of time. Department of Computer Science & Engineering and information Technology offers Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses with an objective to transform students into creative, knowledgeable, principled engineers compatible with their abilities in everchanging socio-economic and competitive scenario. The department of CSE & IT has in take of total 180 and 60 respectively. The CSE department also offers PG Program in CSE & SS with intake of 36 & 18 respectively. CSI Madhya Pradesh State Student Convention (CSI MP SSC) is a State- Level Technical Fest organized by Department of CSE and It, Gyan Ganga Institute of Technology and Sciences, Jabalpur. The objective of CSI MP SSC is to bring together practitioners from academia from all over the state. CSI MP SSC will present huge opportunities to participants to showcase their skills and talents in technical fields. It is expected that almost 1000 student participants will attend the event from various cities of M.P. The main motive of CSI MP SSC is to bring out the competitive domain of students from within themselves and participate among different technical. It is scheduled for 2 days during 16th - 17th February, 2017. The convention is spread into various technical competitions and workshops.

CONTEST DESCRIPTION
The Contest is for novel and innovative mobile applications utilizing any computing architecture (stand-alone, client/server, client/proxy/server, peer-to-peer/ad-hoc, cloud/mobile, others). It is intended as a platform-neutral Contest. All applications must be demonstrated on real devices.

There can be maximum five member in a team.

First round consist of MCQs on C and C++. It will have 30 questions in 30 minutes.
Round 2 -
Mode of conduct: offline (on Code Blocks IDE)
5 bug codes for each team. Total time alotted: 1 hour 30 minutes.

CONTEST DESCRIPTION
Design is the process of collecting ideas, and aesthetically arranging and implementing them, guided by certain principles for a specific purpose. Web design is a similar process of creation, with the intention of presenting the content on electronic web pages, which the end-users can access through the internet with the help of a web browser.
TEAM FORMATION:
Their will be 3 members in a team.
Rounds
Round 1-
First round consist of 30 MCQs held online for 20 min.
Round 2-
In second round, constraints and theme will be provided and one has to design the web page accordingly in 2 hours.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The visiting delegate, Mr. Hemant Sharma, Sr. Entrepreneur from Banglore, will introduce the students to Internet of Things. Students will get a general idea about the technology. They will gain a superficial understanding of how IoT is changing our world and how it is the next big thing not only in Computer Science but in every industry. Students will get to know the role of IoT in different facets of their life and how it is making their life easier.
The level of the workshop will be such that even the beginners will understand it easily whereas the advanced users will also have a treat. In other words, the workshop will cater to all the students irrespective of their experience in IoT.
